বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীর চর খেজুরবাগ ডকইয়ার্ড এলাকা থেকে অজ্ঞাত নামা মুসলিম পুরুষ (৫০) এর ভাসমান লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে দক্ষিন কেরানীগঞ্জ থানা পুলিশ।
সোমবার দুপুরে পুলিশ নিহতের লাশ উদ্ধার সুরতহাল রিপের্ট প্রতিবেদন শেষে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য স্যার সলিমুল্লাহ মেডিকেল কলেজ মিটফোর্ড হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠিয়েছে।
দক্ষিন কেরানীগঞ্জ থানার উপপরিদর্শক (এসআই) মোঃ আক্কেল আলী জানান, সোমবার দুপুরে চর খেজুরবাগ বেবীসাবের ডগইয়ার্ড এলাকায় বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীতে অজ্ঞাত নামা এক ব্যাক্তির লাশ ভাসতে দেখে ডকইয়ার্ড শ্রমিকরা।
পরে তারা বিষয়টি থানা পুলিশকে অবগত করেন। আমি খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে নিহত ব্যাক্তির লাশ ভাসতে দেখে টানে তুলে সুরতহাল প্রতিবেদন তৈরী করি। পরে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠাই। নিহতের বয়স আনুমানিক ৫০ বছর।
তার পড়নে পায়জামা ও সেন্টু গেঞ্জি রয়েছে। শরীরে কোন আঘাতের চিহ্ন দেখা যায় নি। পরিচয় পাওয়া গেলে নিহতের কারন জানা যাবে। এ ব্যাপারে পুলিশ বাদী হয়ে থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করেছে। এই রিপোর্ট লেখা পর্যন্ত অজ্ঞাত ব্যাক্তির পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়নি।
