কেরানীগঞ্জের রামেরকান্দা এলাকার একটি পুকুর থেকে গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে অজ্ঞাতনামা (৩৫) ভাসমান লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে মডেল থানা পুলিশ।
পরে লাশের সুরতহাল রিপোর্ট শেষে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য স্যার সলিমুল্লাহ মেডিকেল কলেজ মিটফোর্ড হাসপাতাল মর্গে প্রেরন করেছে।কেরানীগঞ্জ মডেল থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) মোঃ সালাহউদ্দিন জানান, বৃহস্পতিবার বেলা ১১টায় রামেরকান্দার স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা জনৈক গিয়াসউদ্দিনের পুকুরে অজ্ঞাতনামা মহিলার ভাসমান লাশ দেখে থানা পুলিশকে খবর দেয়।
খবর পেয়ে আমি সঙ্গীয় ফোর্স নিয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে ডোমের সাহায্যে অজ্ঞাত মহিলার লাশ টানে তুলে নিয়ে আসি। লাশের গায়ে কোন আঘাতের চিহ্ন দেখা যায়নি। তবে গলায় একটি সাদা ওড়না পেচানোছিল। নিহতের পড়নে একটি মেকসি পরিহিতছিল। লাশটি চার-পাঁচদিন আগের হওয়ায় গায়ের চামড়া পঁচন ধরে উঠে যাচ্ছে।
এলাকাবাসি ধারনা করছে নিহত মহিলাটিকে ধর্ষনের পর দুর্বৃত্তরা sasসরোধ করে হত্যার পর লাশ গুম করার জন্য পুকুরের পানিতে ফেলে দেয়।
কেরানীগঞ্জ মডেল থানার ওসি শাকের মোহাম্মদ যুবায়ের জানান, লাশের ময়না তদন্তের জন্য হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে পুলিশ বাদী হয়ে থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করেছে। এ রিপোর্ট লেখা পর্যন্ত নিহত অজ্ঞাত মহিলার পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়নি।

ভুয়া পুলিশ সেজে ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স পরীক্ষা দিতে এসে আটক হয়ে শ্রীঘরে গেলেন দুই ব্যাক্তি। আটককৃত দুই ব্যাক্তি হচ্ছে : ঢাকা জেলা ধামরাই থানার বালিয়া গ্রামের মোজাহার আলী খান মজলিসের ছেলে নাঈম আলী খান (৪৫) ও একই থানার চোহাট গ্রামের মোঃ মান্নান মিয়ার ছেলে মোঃ আইয়ুর মিয়া (৪৭)।
ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে গতকাল মঙ্গলবার সকালে কেরানীগঞ্জের ইকুরিয়া বাংলাদেশ রোড ট্রান্সপোর্ট অথরিটি (বিআরটিএ) অফিসের ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স পরীক্ষার হলে। পরে আটককৃতদের বিআরটিএর নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মোঃ সাখাওয়াত হোসেন এর আদালতে হাজির করা হলে , তিনি আটককৃত দুই ভুয়া পুলিশের জবানবন্দীতে দুই মাসের বিনাশ্রম কারাদন্ড প্রদান করেন।
কেরানীগঞ্জের ইকুরিয়া বিআরটিএ অফিসের ঢাকা জেলার সহকারী পরিচালক মোঃ রাফিক আল ইসলাম জানান, মঙ্গলবার সকালে ইকুরিয়া বিআরটিএ অফিসে ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স এর পরীক্ষা চলছিল। পরীক্ষা চলাকালীন সময়ে দুইজন পরিক্ষার্থী পুলিশের পোষাক পড়ে নিজেদের পুলিশ পরিচয় দিয়ে পরীক্ষার হলে বাড়তি সুযোগ সুবিধা গ্রহন করার জন্য পায়তারা করছে।
